About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work on drafting, reviewing, and delivering protective security policies and frameworks.
We are seeking a Senior Security Policy Officer to contribute to modernising governance initiatives within a dynamic team.
- Interpret, draft, and review policy and procedural directions in specialist areas.
- Contribute to planning and implementing agency-wide policies and objectives.
- Draft frameworks, policy, and procedural documents for publication.
- Conduct research and analysis to support new governance initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in Australian Government protective security policy development.
- Highly proficient in written and verbal communication, including briefing and facilitation skills.
- Strong ICT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Records Management platforms.
- Ability to provide expert advice and prepare draft reports, briefing, and discussion papers.
This is an onsite opportunity located in Canberra, working with a dynamic team. We offer a 12-month initial contract with possible extensions.
You must have a TSPV clearance to perform this role, as well as be an Australian citizen with a valid security clearance.
