Automotive Design Engineer Internship

This internship provides the opportunity to work with a leading automotive design company that offers a variety of design engineering services for clients in the trucking and parts sector.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will join our mechanical engineering team for a 12-week internship to assist with the design and execution of various automotive parts. Key responsibilities include designing and product development, creating technical specifications, release drawings, conducting research & development activities, 3D modeling using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, assessing product design viability for production, initiating and handling production trials, and assisting with fabrication or component design when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of design principles and product development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
