Mechanical Electrotechnician

The role requires an electromechanical specialist to perform troubleshooting, testing, and assembly of complex electro-mechanical assemblies. They will also assist in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing detailed visual inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Preparing software systems for operation in surface mud logging systems.
• Testing the functionality of SLS cabin components, including alarm and gas detection systems.
• Assisting in the repair and maintenance of drilling equipment.
• Conducting complex tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
• Identifying and communicating technical issues using logical troubleshooting techniques.
• Setting up and troubleshooting or preparing tests on SLS cabin equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in electronic or mechanical backgrounds, with a focus on maintenance processes.
• Demonstrated technical and mechanical aptitude, with a desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills.
• Experience working with SLS equipment and surface equipment.
• Basic understanding of SLS cabin functionality.
• Basic SAP knowledge.
• Strong IT and technical skills, with ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good problem-solving and analytical skills.
