Hydrogeology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrogeologist to contribute to our Geotechnical and Hydrogeology Group.

• This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in hydrogeological investigations, assessments, and groundwater resource planning.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in groundwater investigations, conceptualization, and impact assessment. They will be responsible for leading and supporting hydrogeological investigations and assessments for municipal and commercial scale water supply, mining, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Designing and managing field programs including bore design, installation, aquifer testing, groundwater monitoring, and sampling.
2. Developing and refining conceptual hydrogeological models and supporting numerical modeling efforts.
3. Providing technical advice on groundwater resource planning, impact assessments, and regulatory compliance.
4. Mentoring junior team members and contributing to knowledge sharing and capability development.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Hydrogeology or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in hydrogeological consulting or applied groundwater science.
• Strong technical skills in groundwater investigations, conceptualization, and impact assessment.
• Experience with Victoria's groundwater framework, regulations, and policy is highly desirable.
