Home Lending Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Home Lending Specialist to provide exceptional service to customers, helping them achieve their home buying goals.

The successful candidate will possess a well-developed knowledge of home lending products and the current responsible lending legislation. They will be able to research the broader market, economic, and industry changes affecting customers and the Group.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Customer Support and Advice: Provide support and advice to customers to help them make informed decisions about their home buying journey.
  • Lending Solutions: Complete first interviews and appointments with prospective home buyers to determine suitable lending solutions and submit applications.
  • Business Development: Develop your business by building and maintaining internal and external referral sources and seeking external referrals from existing customers.
  • Networking and Branding: Build your personal brand and network in the local community to enhance your credibility and reputation.
  • Continuous Learning: Attend regular coaching sessions to develop your lending knowledge and skills and coaching your branch colleagues on best practice.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience in a similar home lending role from within a bank or mortgage broker environment.
  • Business Development Success: Demonstrated business development success.
  • Knowledge of Home Lending Products: A well-developed knowledge of home lending products and the current responsible lending legislation.
