Aligned Leisure is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Richmond Football Club, dedicated to managing the operations of Richmond's health, fitness, and leisure business activities. With the support of the Richmond Football Club's personnel and business systems, Aligned Leisure operates 32 leisure centers, community stadiums, pools, gyms, theaters, and various facilities across Victoria and New South Wales. Role Overview
As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering safe, engaging, and innovative swimming lessons. This includes maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Swim and Survive program, staying updated on industry developments, and adhering to the applicable Occupational Health and Safety guidelines. You will demonstrate effective communication and engagement with students of all ages and abilities, ensuring that everyone receives an exceptional program tailored to their needs. Your commitment to maintaining the highest standards of our community facility is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality swimming lessons that are safe and productive.
  2. Maintain knowledge of the Swim and Survive program and industry standards.
  3. Engage effectively with students to maximize retention and satisfaction.
  4. Ensure the facility is presented and maintained to the highest standards.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Relevant experience in the industry.
  2. Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Qualification.
  3. Teacher of Infants and Toddlers Qualification (desirable).
  4. Successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks.
  5. Willingness to obtain first aid and CPR qualifications.
