The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Home Loan Specialist to join our team at our City West branch. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our members by identifying their financial needs and providing them with options on our range of lending and banking products.
You will assist our members with all mortgage lending enquiries and lead them through their lending journey from application to settlement. Your expertise will help secure and enhance our members' financial wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Educate our members on digital banking solutions to enhance their financial management.
- Make outbound calls to new and prospective members to build relationships and identify their financial needs.
- Conduct phone, virtual, and in-branch appointments with members to discuss their banking needs and provide personalized solutions.
- Build and maintain referral networks in the community by providing exceptional service and promoting our products.
- Optimize opportunities to cross-sell through needs-based conversations and maintain knowledge of our products and services.
- Achieve and maintain individual and department targets, ensuring exceptional customer service and sales performance.
- Experience and knowledge in lending processes from application to settlement.
- RG146 Tier 2 certification or be prepared to undertake such training.
- Sound knowledge of financial services regulatory framework, including AFSL and ACL obligations and Privacy legislation.
- Demonstrated sales and/or lending experience preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of financial services and insurance products, financial services systems, and automated loans processing.
- Strong relationship building and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
