About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in process engineering with significant experience in metallurgy and mineral processing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering solutions to operational challenges regarding safety, process, yield or upgrade.
  • Engaging stakeholders to understand business needs.
  • Developing reports for presenting process engineering outcomes.
  • Working closely with mine planning, Process Control & Hive operations teams.
  • Driving short-term metallurgical accounting and production planning.
  • Generating and/or approving process-related deliverables and documentation.
  • Ensuring correct application of Health & Safety standards.
  • Overseeing technical quality and integrity of process changes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the mineral processing industry.
  • Experience in process engineering on major projects, including materials handling, crushing, screening, and wet beneficiation processes.
  • Strong leadership, conceptual thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and focus on continual improvement.
  • Proven capability to effectively communicate and engage across all levels.
