Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Care Professional to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals with disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering vulnerable people and promoting their independence.

FlexiHome Care is committed to delivering flexible and tailored support services that cater to each client's unique needs and goals.

  • Provide person-centred care, helping customers achieve their aspirations by understanding their preferences and abilities
  • Collaborate with our team to develop Customer Support Plans that meet the individual's requirements
  • Offer assistance with personal care, living skills, transport, social activities, medication, and other needs as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records on a daily basis
  • Build professional relationships with customers, families, caregivers, and stakeholders through effective communication and empathy
  • Pursue innovative ways to enhance the customer experience, working closely with our growing team

Requirements:

  • Cert 3 or 4 in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or Nursing
  • Preference given to candidates with a driver's license and access to a vehicle for transport purposes
  • Experience in Disability, Aged Care, or Nursing sectors
  • Ability to supervise clients in water (swimming skill preferred)

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills to ensure positive outcomes
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
