Job Description

The residential development analyst is a crucial role in the land development team that supports the growth strategy of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of strategic land development objectives through financial modelling, feasibility analysis and reporting using tools like ARGUS Estate Master and Excel.
  • Prepare and analyse project budgets, cashflows, forecasts and KPIs, including risk and sensitivity assessments to support investment decisions.
  • Coordinate and maintain accurate project performance data, ensuring alignment across accounting and development teams.
  • Provide regular reporting on project performance, milestones, financials and operational impacts for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with due diligence, research and acquisition assessments for new development opportunities.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders, supporting scalable systems and efficient workflows.
  • Contribute to ongoing risk management, compliance and the promotion of brand integrity and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A self-motivated professional with a strong interest in property and a passion for high-quality work.
  • Tertiary qualifications in property, finance or similar fields, with 5+ years' experience in property development, valuations or advisory roles.
  • Advanced skills in financial modelling and feasibility analysis using ARGUS Estate Master (DF, DM, CC) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to research, interpret and present market data to support commercial decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable and keen to contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused team.
