Airborne Solutions Manager

Our team seeks a visionary Airborne Solutions Manager to lead the State Police and Ambulance Rescue Aviation Service (SPARAS) program in South Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Mobilization: Spearhead the mobilization of SPARAS, focusing on strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Resource Optimization: Effectively manage personnel, equipment, and materials to achieve program objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project progress and report on key performance indicators.
We require a Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Minimum five years' experience in complex aviation project and program management is essential.
Essential Skills and Competencies:- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to inspire teams to achieve program goals.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management software and tools like Smartsheet and PRINCE 2.
- Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making abilities and strategic thinking.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to manage large-scale programs.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in project planning and execution; adaptability to changing project requirements.
