Hire for this role to maintain and improve our integrated management system for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certification.

  • We are seeking a proactive Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team in a part-time capacity.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and continuously improve our integrated management system for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certification.
  • Promote a positive safety culture across all projects and sites.
  • Manage workplace incidents, injuries, and near-misses to minimize risk and prevent harm.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and observations to ensure compliance.
  • Deliver engaging toolbox talks and site safety initiatives.
  • Perform site visits, including pre-starts, safety walks, and inspections.
  • Stay up-to-date on legislative changes and communicate updates effectively.
  • Prepare detailed reports with actionable insights and statistics.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and standards.
  • Incident investigation skills, including ICAM training (preferred).
  • Proven track record managing ISO 9001, 14001, and AS/NZS 4801 systems.
  • Background in facilities management is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills-comfortable speaking to groups.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Intelex and Avetta (advantageous).
