About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Catholic Healthcare. As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to residents in our residential aged care home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Act as a Team Leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents by closely following all policies and procedures
To Be Successful In This Role You'll Need
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Competent IT skills
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
