Job Description

As a Catering Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the onsite catering operations within one of our regions.

This is a fast-paced role requiring a high level of motivation and focus. To be successful, you'll need to lead a team of up to 30 staff, manage menu planning and production, control food costs, and demonstrate strong financial skills.

The ideal candidate will have Australian Citizenship or full working rights, as well as a Certificate III (minimum requirement) or IV (desirable) in Commercial Cookery.

Additionally, they will have Strong Chef experience (minimum 7 years), remote FIFO experience, and Advanced Food Handlers Certificate or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.

Experience in a high-pressure catering, boardroom, corporate, hotel, or events environment is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be accountable for all onsite catering operations for sites falling within your region
  • Manage regional food costs and menu planning for the region
  • Focus on improving the efficiency and profitability of catering operations onsite
  • Maintain a high standard of service in accordance with client expectations while working within budget

The success of this role will depend on the ability to plan, execute, and control the quality and cost of onsite catering operations.
