About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Technical Nuclear Advisor to join our Government Solutions APAC organisation at KBR. As a trusted nuclear steward, you will be responsible for developing our brand and reputation in Australia through building and maintaining relationships within the nuclear ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key Defence, civil and academic organisations to position KBR as a trusted nuclear steward.
- Identify and realise opportunities to harness capabilities across KBR globally and key partners through collaboration.
- Provide independent technical advice to captures, projects and leadership, and perform engineering work to verify KBR's capability of meeting requirements within customer constraints.
- Understand KBR's global capabilities and how they align with KBR's APAC strategy for growth, especially in the areas of AUKUS Pillar 1, Sustainment & Modernisation and Consultancy vectors.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in the industry and with the Defence customer in the areas of nuclear stewardship, nuclear regulation and workforce development to support Australia's SSN ambitions.
- Influence and advise GS APAC and the broader KBR in the development and delivery of nuclear assurance and stewardship solutions to the Australian Defence Force.
Requirements
- Provides thought leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Science / Engineering.
- At least 20 years of related experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Exceptional client and stakeholder management skills.
