About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant educational community as a dedicated Early Childhood Educator. You will play a key role in planning, delivering and evaluating engaging educational programs that inspire excellence and nurture the holistic development of students.

As a professional educator, you will be responsible for fostering a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. This involves building strong relationships with families and colleagues, while upholding the philosophy, policies and procedures of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, implementing and reviewing high-quality, developmentally appropriate programs
  • Support every child's participation, agency and learning experiences
  • Ensure a safe, healthy and welcoming environment, meeting all regulatory and policy requirements
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, staff and the wider community
  • Uphold the philosophy, policies and procedures of the school
  • Actively contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent; or working towards)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families and colleagues
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and maintain professional standards
  • Commitment to safe work practices, child wellbeing and cultural inclusivity
