Job Opportunity

The Assistant Director, PMO role is a critical leadership position within the Digital Health SA organization.

  • Key responsibilities will include:
  1. Leading the development and implementation of improvements in standards and processes deployed by the PMO for use by all programs and projects.
  2. Serving as a source of documentation, guidance, and metrics on the practice of IT project management and execution, supporting relevant governance bodies.
  3. Ensuring projects achieve quality criteria, managing project information and reporting, and supporting portfolio planning processes.
  4. Managing project management staff as directed by the Director, Business Transformation, providing direction to support successful delivery of assigned projects, and participating in project boards as required.
  5. Supporting the Director, Business Transformation in provision of ICT project and program governance leadership to the Digital Health SA Board and related governance bodies.
  6. Assisting with other matters related to the Digital Health SA project Portfolio as required.

Requirements
  • A 'National Police Certificate' (NPC) or 'Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check' (NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups.
  • Immunization risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact).

The incumbent may be required to work out of hours and some intra/interstate travel may be necessary.
