","Job Summary

A security-focused leader is needed to develop and implement a Physical Security Operations Centre (PSOC) strategy, ensuring the protection of AWS' highly secure infrastructure. This role involves managing risk, threat, and vulnerability management, as well as overseeing protective security policies and procedures.

","Key Responsibilities
  • Provide risk, threat, and vulnerability management expertise to support AWS leadership and other security teams.
  • Direct and oversee physical/protective security risk, threat, and vulnerability management.
  • Implement an effective protective security risk, threat, and vulnerability management plan, schedule, and roadmap.
  • Manage and implement protective security risk, threat, and vulnerability deliverables.
  • Prepare executive-level presentation packs, briefings, papers, and reports.
  • Develop, oversee, and review protective security policies, procedures, processes, guidelines, forms, and templates.
  • Identify vulnerable processes and systems and provide advice and support for remediation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to address risk, threat, and vulnerability management obligations.
","RequirementsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years experience in PSOC or public sector agencies involved in physical security management.
  • Proficient with government security frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Minimum 5 years experience implementing and operationalising security to meet business outcomes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, IT Security Management, Security Risk Management, or related security field.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead business partners and supporting teams.
  • Credible coordination between technical teams and business stakeholders.
