Job Summary

As a skilled Painter (Engineering) at Accor Hotels, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, applying paint and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, and performing specialized painting techniques to enhance the visual appeal of designated areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
  • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim.
  • Perform specialized painting techniques such as faux finishing, texture painting, and decorative painting to enhance the visual appeal of designated areas.
  • Inspect painted surfaces regularly to identify signs of wear, fading, or damage.
  • Perform touch-up painting and repairs as needed to maintain the integrity of the finishes and prolong their lifespan.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Painter in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
  • Proficiency in surface preparation techniques, paint application methods, and specialized finishing techniques.
  • Knowledge of paint types, finishes, and color mixing principles.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
