Heart Failure Research Scholar

We are seeking a medical, nursing or allied health graduate to pursue a PhD within an externally-funded project in cardiovascular disease. This research opportunity is focused on developing and implementing electronic Patient Reported Outcomes Measures (ePROM) systems for heart failure patients.
The Research ProjectThe proposed project will address current gaps in the palliative and supportive care of heart failure patients by enabling a platform for patients to be engaged in the care pathways. The ePROM system will be co-designed with patients and carers to provide proactive care and improved communication between patients and clinicians.
Eligibility Requirements- You must be a medical, nursing or allied health graduate interested in pursuing further research in cardiovascular disease, supportive/palliative care or health services implementation.
- You should have a strong desire to pursue a clinical research career and receive comprehensive mixed methods research training.
Candidates will need to demonstrate valid and current Australian work rights.
What We Offer- A 3-year fixed-term PhD scholarship funded by an external organisation.
