Sports Journalism Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced sports journalist to join our team.

This role involves covering live events, conducting interviews, and creating engaging content for television news programs.

  • Covering sports events and conducting interviews with athletes and coaches
  • Coordinating with colleagues to produce high-quality content for broadcast
  • Presenting stories on television with confidence and authority
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of various sports disciplines

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and execute coverage of live events, including football, basketball, and other sports
  2. Conduct in-depth interviews with athletes and coaches to gather information and insights
  3. Collaborate with producers and editors to create compelling storylines and narratives
  4. Present news stories on-air, using strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Requirements:

  • At least two years' experience in TV reporting, including field work and studio presentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences through storytelling
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy
  • Proficiency in video editing software, such as Quantel and ENPS, an advantage
