**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our Enterprise Integration Services team. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting the business mature the Cloud Capability environment, while also contributing to other key deliverables.

As a cloud expert, you will be responsible for creating short-term and mid-term plans to maintain efficient and cost-effective cloud environments that support the needs of operations and project activities. You will also work closely with the Business Relationship Management teams to ensure concepts that utilise cloud solutions are strategically aligned and developed within standards and best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating short-term and mid-term plans to maintain efficient and cost-effective cloud environments
  • Maturing organisational cloud capabilities through the development of roadmaps, policies, standards and procedures
  • Liaising with the Business Relationship Management teams to ensure strategic alignment of cloud solutions
  • Working with the Cyber Security teams to ensure secure operation of cloud environments
  • Providing input into cloud solution architectural designs based on industry best practices
  • Defining and agreeing deployment schedules with Program, Project, Application teams and Release Management and Testing teams
  • Monitoring and guaranteeing up-time and availability of all environments

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or other relevant discipline
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
  • Highly proficient in the design and management of solutions operating on major cloud platforms in an enterprise environment, specifically within Azure
  • Strong experience in the migration of on-premise solutions to cloud-based platforms
  • Experience in the development of best practice governance controls including policy, standards and procedures development
  • Sound understanding of cloud product and service offerings by common platform delivery providers, particularly Azure and AWS
  • A strong understanding of ITIL service management in the context of cloud-based operations
  • Knowledge of architectural design methodologies and standards, such as TOGAF
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suites
  • Results-focused with strong planning, analytical and communication skills
  • Collaborative work style with the ability to understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct projects in the right direction in a timely manner
  • Proficient in Linux environments
