Advanced Research and Development Scientist

Finding innovative solutions to provide the world's essential materials is at the core of our business. As an Experimental Chemist/Scientist, you will utilise your laboratory skills to further knowledge in aluminium minerals processing, supporting both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct laboratory investigations and field trials for strategic projects and short-term technical support;
- Review and interpret relevant test work and plant data;
- Communicate outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders;
- Develop, operate, and maintain analytical and process simulation instrumentation;
We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in research and development laboratory processes, including laboratory equipment maintenance and analytical instrumentation usage. A solid foundation in safe laboratory operations is essential.
Tertiary qualification in Science-Chemistry or a related discipline is required. Post-graduate qualifications are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also possess experience in bauxite and/or alumina/Bayer laboratory, as well as expertise in experimental design, conducting experiments, data analysis, and interpretation, plus reporting and presenting.
