Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the development, implementation and maintenance of state-wide radio communications and emergency services management systems.

This role requires hands-on experience with radio communications and IP network systems as well as project management skills for coordinating technical work. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of contemporary data networks and their integration with radio systems.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Familiarity with VHF/UHF radio systems
  • Practical experience in the maritime or emergency services sector
  • Understanding of the radio and telecommunications regulatory environment in Australia
  • Experience maintaining virtualisation environments (e.g. VMware)
  • IP network knowledge including NBN, MPLS, LTE and microwave systems
