MPK seeks experienced Poly/Welders to join our project in the Surat Basin, working a 14:7 roster. Key duties include:

  1. Loading, cleaning, and preparing HDPE pipes to be welded
  2. Reshaping and bending pipes using hand and machine tools by heating and cooling methods
  3. Aligning various size pipes to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
  4. Joining HDPE pipe sections in accordance with industry standards and certified welding techniques
  5. Recording all welding information in Data Logger machines
  6. Examining welds for width of bead, penetration, and precision
  7. Loading and transporting weld equipment on a daily basis and preparing equipment for different pipe sizes

Suitable applicants will have previous experience and relevant tickets/qualifications specific to Poly/welding. Competency in all types of HDPE welding machines, tie-ins, and Golden Welds is required.
