Job Title: Gardening & Home Maintenance Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in Kwinana, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by providing gardening and home maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide gardening and home maintenance services to seniors and individuals with disabilities;
  • Work collaboratively with a passionate and collaborative team to deliver high-quality services;
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders;
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols;
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in gardening and/or home maintenance;
  • Fantastic customer service skills and ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;
  • Basic computer and paperwork skills;
  • A Certificate in Horticulture or similar would be an advantage but not essential;
  • A NDIS Worker Screening Check; Current Western Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions; Your own vehicle; Rights to work in Australia; Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply).
