About This Role

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Water Regulation team. As a Water Regulation Specialist, you will play a critical role in reviewing and processing licence, dealing and approval applications, ensuring compliance with legislation and WaterNSW standards, policies and procedures. You will provide high-level customer service, respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner, and prepare regular reporting as required to monitor and provide insights into the processing of applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process licence, dealing and approval applications, to meet customer requirements and ensure compliance with legislation and WaterNSW standards, policies and procedures.
  • Provide high level customer service, and respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare regular reporting as required to monitor and provide insights into the processing of applications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, or relevant equivalent industry experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including how to review, interpret and apply legislation within the workplace.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment to process customer applications.
  • Experience in the use of corporate systems and databases to process requests including the accurate storage and extraction of information.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience to respond to customer enquiries and resolving customer conflict, in an appropriate manner.
  • Mapping and Geo Spatial experience.
  • A current NSW Drivers Licence.
