As a member of our Core Cloud Networking and Automation team, you will design, build, and support secure, scalable, and cost-effective networking solutions that manage north-south and east-west traffic flow rules. Your expertise will be applied to explore new technologies, implement proof of concepts, and contribute to key production projects. You will also develop solutions for public cloud infrastructure to address complex technical challenges. In addition to Atlassian's core values, our team adheres to these guiding principles:

On your first day, we expect you to possess:

  • 2+ years' experience developing services in Python
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as CloudFormation and Terraform
  • Experience building, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure in AWS using VPC, EC2 compute
  • Familiarity with modern web application delivery and architecture
  • L3-L7 level network layers
  • IP, DNS, VPC peering, and subnet management

If you have experience in, or want to learn more about:

  • AWS Services, Ansible, Developer tools such as docker
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues in microservices, cloud applications, and network services at scale
  • SignalFX, Splunk, and other monitoring systems, including internal monitoring tools
