Senior Project Engineer Role

Monadelphous is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Offshore Energy team. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will work closely with our client's maintenance team to ensure the readiness of maintenance and campaign scopes.

We are a multidisciplinary construction, maintenance, and industrial services company providing comprehensive solutions to resources, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specializes in providing maintenance and improvement solutions for customers across Australia and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and deliver planned execution strategies.
  • Resource estimation for detailed maintenance scopes via CTR process.
  • Progress and close out reporting.
  • Interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, vendor data sheets, and project-specific tools for MDR collation.
  • Provide project engineering support and planning functions for assigned scopes.
  • Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required.
  • Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to plan and deliver your assigned scopes.
Requirements:
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering – recognized by Engineers Australia.
  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in Project Engineering on maintenance projects with experience in a similar role preferably oil and gas offshore experience in Brownfields or project scopes.
  • Experience within QA/QC with fabrication and/or coatings exposure.
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to quality and their application to Monadelphous.
  • Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal) and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Experience with preparing plans, technical instructions, and reports.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Desirable but not essential: Primavera P6 planning tool experience.
