Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Field Tester to join our team at Boral. As a Concrete Field Tester, you will be responsible for conducting sampling and testing of concrete products on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct sampling of concrete samples on site
  • Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions, and manuals
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment as required
  • Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
  • Other duties as directed by the Field Tester Section Head

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience as a concrete field tester
  • Nata Signatory in concrete testing would be highly desirable
  • Experience in a supervisor or team leader would be highly desirable
  • Experience in Qest LIMS system
  • A commitment to safety and quality
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in science or another relevant discipline e.g. Civil, Chemical or Materials - (desirable but not essential)
  • Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc)
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards
