Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling Site Lead to oversee the operation of drilling rigs and associated equipment.

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership and ensure compliance with minimum standards while building relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership to ensure safe and efficient operation of drilling rigs, associated equipment, and personnel.
  • Promote safe and efficient operation of drilling rigs, associated equipment, and personnel.
  • Audit all work areas, machinery, and work groups regularly and address any gaps or non-compliances.
  • Assist site Management in all drilling-related safety and compliance matters.
  • Investigate incidents onsite.
  • Conduct pre-mobilization inspections of drilling plant and equipment.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance drilling personnel's understanding of safety procedures and emergency protocols.
Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in drilling safety, particularly on exploration RC and Diamond drilling programs.

Strong understanding of drilling equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and influence positive change.

Health, Safety and Training qualifications desirable.
