We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at War Memorial Hospital. As a Physiotherapist - Aged Care and Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physiotherapy care to our clients, consistent with our organization's policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive physiotherapy care to clients, including inpatients, outpatients, and aquatic physiotherapy.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and effective therapeutic interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the client's needs and goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide high-quality written and verbal communication to clients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Degree or Post-Graduate Qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Experience working as a physiotherapist in aged care and/or rehabilitation.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and exercise independent professional judgement.
- High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills and the capacity to use health information systems.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
