Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $79,244 to $91,330 per annum, plus superannuation. Additionally, we offer hybrid and flexible work arrangements, personal learning and development budget, and access to discounts at various retailers.

Job Description

This exciting role as a Senior Financial Crime Analyst will involve conducting thorough investigations into suspicious transactions and accounts to identify potential financial crimes. You will analyze financial data, transaction patterns, and customer behavior to detect anomalies and risks. Your collaboration with internal stakeholders will be crucial in developing strategies to mitigate financial crime risks.

You will also stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats to enhance detection measures. Accurate documentation and reports related to investigations will be essential, as well as assisting in the development of financial crime prevention policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require a relevant degree or diploma from an accredited institution and a minimum of two years' experience in AML, CTF, and/or CPF-related fields. Industry certification such as ACAMS is preferred, but not required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ethics, and confidentiality are essential.

Your ability to assess suspicious activity, ensure compliance with regulatory reporting obligations, and coordinate transaction monitoring will be vital. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are also necessary, along with a positive attitude that aligns with our company values.
