About the Role

We are seeking a talented Veterinary Specialist in Internal Medicine to join our dynamic team at Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work with a multidisciplinary specialist hospital, providing personalized care to patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver high-quality medical care to our patients, working collaboratively with specialists, registrars, nurses, and veterinarians.
  • To maintain a broad and complex caseload, utilizing state-of-the-art technology, including digital radiography, ultrasounds, ECG, CT scanner, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and access to high-field MRI.
  • To contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering creativity and ethical collaborative research.
Requirements
  • A recognized veterinary degree and certification as an ECVIM or ACVIM diplomate or eligibility to sit certifying examinations within a year of employment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • An excellent work ethic, commitment to the culture and values of BVSC, and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
