The Opportunity

This role is a key front-line position responsible for assisting in day-to-day depot operations, including operational delivery, compliance, system management, driver liaison, rostering, and reporting.

  • Positioned in High Wycombe
  • Assisting Managers to implement business plans and strategic objectives for the site while planning and delivering school, route, special event, and charter services at the depot.
  • Maintain good business relationships with stakeholders and staff, developing collaborative working relationships for excellence in service provision and individual performance.
  • Manage day-to-day staff resource allocations for the depot, maintaining drivers' rosters through TIMS and implementing cost-effective staffing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Must be available to work split shifts from 5:30am to 9:30am and 2:00pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday, subject to operational requirements.
  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, or operations is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Minimum MR Driver's License
  • A current PTD accreditation and Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid certificate is preferable or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational ability – including the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service focus
  • Demonstrated ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including the ability to utilise integrated software systems (TIMS knowledge is preferable)
