Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team at the City of Mandurah. As a key member of our Procurement Services team, you will be responsible for managing low to medium risk procurement processes, working with various stakeholders and across multiple project teams.

• Administer the City's procurement program, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
• Maintain a high level of effectiveness in the delivery of goods and services, ensuring probity, accountability, and transparency.
• Support the Coordinator Procurement Services in the analysis, development, and delivery of best practice processes for the City's procurement systems.

• A Tertiary qualification or diploma in procurement, business, law, or related fields is desirable but not essential.
• Three to five years' experience in the delivery of procurement services and contract preparation in a local, state, or federal government setting.
• Demonstrated experience in a procurement team, including knowledge and understanding of procurement policies, guidelines, and procedures within a local and public sector environment.

• A competitive annual remuneration range of $87,623 - $102,693 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
