About the Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Educator to join our well-established and long-term team at Majella Early Years Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading and collaborating with your assistant in preparing programs for children based on their interests and needs in our Senior Toddler room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive, educational program that promotes children's growth and development.
  • Child Support: Support children to grow and develop, and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy, safe, and nurturing environment.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional and personal development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Community Engagement: Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Diploma qualification recognized by ACECQA, or Working Towards.
  • Certifications: First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
  • Clearance: Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard.
  • Communication: Effective workplace communication skills.
