Senior Network Architect

Percepta is seeking a skilled Senior Network Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing complex network architectures, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and reliability.

The Senior Network Architect will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing network architectures, including LAN/WAN systems, VPNs, and Internet Proxy systems
  • Developing and maintaining network documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and policies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including systems administrators, support teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless network operations
  • Providing Tier III support outside normal business hours as required to support the network
  • Monitoring and resolving network issues, including performance optimization, troubleshooting, and escalation to vendors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in network architecture and design
  • Expert knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
