Lead Healthcare Professional

About the Role:

As a Lead Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, addressing their medical, physical, and emotional needs. You will also have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring effective management of a residence during non-business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure effective management of a residence.
  • Deliver high-quality and person-centered care to residents.
  • Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans for each resident.
  • Ensure proper administration and management of medications for residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents' families or legal guardians.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 4 years experience as an RN in aged care.
  • Grade 5, Registered Nurse.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
  • Expertise in medication administration and wound care.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
