Innovation Scientist

This position involves technology innovation for product development and improvement. The incumbent will use knowledge and experience to design and prototype new environmentally sustainable products as well as improve current ones.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Design and prototype cellulose-based, environmentally friendly products for various applications.
- Develop new technologies to enhance the quality and reduce costs of existing products.
- Stay updated with field developments and identify opportunities for technology advancement.
- Advanced degree in science or engineering is required.
- Prior experience and knowledge of cellulose and paper packaging are preferred.
- Familiarity with polymer science and processing technologies is beneficial.
- The candidate must demonstrate past innovative research and achievements.
- Able to work in a cross-functional team to provide support and technical leadership for strategic projects.
- Ability to learn new areas of technology and contribute to project completion.
- Ability to prioritize development tasks and assess feasibility.
- Knowledge of statistical computer tools such as Minitab and Excel functions is desired.
