The Opportunity
We're seeking a skilled Production Worker to join our team at our Yatala Visy box factory. This is an advanced manufacturing facility where you'll have the opportunity to work consistent hours on a Night or Day shift, Monday to Friday. As a Production Worker, you'll be part of a team that operates various machines and supports different operational production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the production of cardboard boxes through various processes, including corrugation, die cutting, and stacking.
- Perform quality inspection checks on newly produced boxes and other procedural checks.
- Operate computer production systems and interfaces.
- Assist with job changes and associated tasks.
- Troubleshoot and assist with general mechanical maintenance and fix minor mechanical problems.
- Contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production process environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, undertaking manual handling tasks and keeping up with production.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a good eye for detail.
- A willingness to learn and develop in the role.
