At our esteemed healthcare institution, we are seeking a Graduate Registered Midwife to join our team in Maternity services. This 12-month graduate program is designed to support early career nurses and midwives in transitioning into independent practice.
We offer a comprehensive learning experience, including rotations within the graduate stream, ongoing employment contract, and dedicated support from experienced professionals. Our goal is to provide a structured environment that fosters growth and enables you to specialize in areas that inspire you.
The program includes:
- General graduate stream available – depending on Hospital preference
- One to three rotations within your graduate stream over the 12-month program
- Ongoing employment contract
- Benefit from supernumerary time as you ease into independent clinical practice
Key qualifications include evidence of Australian working rights, completion of a nursing or midwifery course within the last six months or expected completion at least one month before starting, and availability for a minimum of 30 hours/week on a rotating roster including AM, PM, night, weekends, and public holidays.
Our recruitment process typically takes place between August and December, with orientations scheduled for February and March. We look forward to welcoming the right candidate to our team and supporting their journey towards success.
