Public Health Nutritionist

A challenging opportunity exists for a highly skilled and motivated Public Health Nutritionist to join our team. The successful applicant will be working in the public health sector, providing nutrition education sessions and cooking demonstrations to build community capacity for healthy food choices.
The role involves participating in health promotion activities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate patient records. Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to develop joint management plans with diverse audiences are essential.
We are seeking a professional with expertise in therapeutic nutrition and dietetics, who can provide clinical advice to other health professionals and engage in shared decision-making. Experience in providing dietary advice and education to patients and the broader community is highly regarded.
This role offers the opportunity to work with Aboriginal communities, promoting culturally responsive practice and effective communication. A commitment to continuing professional development and capacity building within the team is also required.

Requirements for this role include:
- Tertiary qualification from a recognised Australian university (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for registration in Australia
- Experience with Aboriginal organisations or communities
Compliance requirements include National Police Clearance and Ochre Card (NT Working with Children's) prior to commencement.
