About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team at Townsville University Hospital. As a Locum Sonographer, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, utilizing advanced equipment, and working within a large, busy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 10-12 patients per day, with time booked off for stretching, breaks, and catch-up work
  • Utilize advanced equipment, including 5 General US rooms with GE, Philips, and Canon machines, as well as a Vascular Lab equipped with Canon technology
  • Work within a large, busy department, including the Emergency Department
  • Experience using Viewpoint and ability to acquire skills to use GE, Philips, and Canon machines
  • Be available for open-ended locum durations from the end of September
