About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, technology assessments, and due diligences to identify opportunities for biogas and waste-to-energy projects.
  • Develop conceptual designs, technical specifications, and tender documents for biogas and waste-to-energy facilities.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and commissioning of biogas and waste-to-energy projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Engage in business development activities to identify new opportunities for biogas and waste-to-energy projects in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Collaborate with senior project managers and technical experts to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and tools within the anaerobic digestion competence team.
Requirements
  • Significant professional working experience within the AD/biogas sector.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
  • PhD, MSc, or BSc in chemical, biological, energy, process, or mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work in Australia and travel to meetings and projects around the APAC region.
