We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to join our team as a specialist radiologist.
About the PositionThe Medical Imaging Department is inviting applications for a Staff Specialist Radiologist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist radiology services during normal working hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Provision of high quality specialist radiology services during normal working hours.
- Report and validate imaging reports; make reports available in a timely manner communicate urgent reports appropriately.
- Participate in teaching and research duties.
- Promotion of good patient care and the department's reputation.
- Participation in on-call rosters.
- Collaboration with clinicians across the hospital and within the department.

Selection Criteria:- Possess specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia and obtain a provider number from Medicare to practice as a specialist in Australia.
- Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated management ability in clinical service planning and provision of a patient-focused clinical service.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to create a learning culture and improve quality of services and patient care outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate medical care and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ongoing contribution to the development, dissemination, and translation of new knowledge and practices.
- Personal integrity and commitment to our organization's philosophy, mission, and values.
