Cyber Security SIEM Specialist

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise in security information and event management (SIEM) tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring SIEM systems to detect, respond to, and mitigate cyber threats in real-time.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP ETD and Microsoft Sentinel, and will be able to utilize these tools to investigate potential security incidents and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data and systems.
  • They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining effective security policies, procedures, and guidelines related to SIEM operations.
  • In addition, they will communicate security status to stakeholders using SIEM dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, analyze, and manage alerts generated by SAP ETD and Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, attack patterns, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Active AGSVA Baseline Clearance or NV1 Clearance.
  • Australian Citizenship.
  • On-site presence 5 days a week.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SIEM administration, preferably with both SAP ETD and Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certifications.
  • Proven expertise in threat detection, incident response, and security event management.
  • Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, and cyber threat intelligence.
