About the Role
As a Graduate Structural Engineer at Taylor Thomson Whitting, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering iconic and award-winning projects across Australia and the globe. Our vision is to forge strong relationships with clients through smart, innovative, and efficient engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in structural design and analysis for a wide range of public and private sector projects.
- Liaise with drafters to prepare documentation and assist with preparation of specifications, fee proposals, reports, and other documentation under close supervision.
- Work on simple projects or sections of projects, developing skills towards assuming responsibility for project sections.
About You
We are looking for an Australian tertiary engineering graduate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for problem-solving. Ideally, you will have:
- An Australian degree qualification in engineering;
- Building-related experience from internships or current roles in commercial, residential, government, public buildings, and retail;
- Knowledge and understanding of Australian regulatory requirements;
- A can-do attitude;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- The ability to multi-task and work within a motivated team.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary estimated to be around AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience;
