Job Overview

This is a senior retail leadership opportunity for an experienced and inspirational leader to join our QLD team. As the Area Manager, you will oversee a region of concept and concession stores.

You will be hands on across all aspects of our retail stores, leading our teams by example and taking our state to the next level.

The Role
  • You will be accountable for state financials, sales, wages and shrinkage targets for the group. You will communicate budgets, motivate and encourage staff
  • Enhance stock consolidations and suggest promotional opportunities based on an understanding of the customer base in the region
  • Manage administration and stock, including reserve stock management, implementing loss prevention controls and general state-wide administration
  • Ensure staff comply with policies and procedures and performance counselling. Work closely with the VM team to ensure high visual merchandising standards to maximise sales potential
  • Promote and maintain harmonious working relationships in the store
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and organise stock to maximise sales on the shop floor
  • Prepare monthly rosters costed to achieve store budgets
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need 2+ years of experience in a Multi Site or Area Management role for a fashion apparel retailer.

You should have strong interpersonal skills to lead and manage store teams and a desire to challenge yourself to achieve company and personal objectives.

Requirements

To be considered for this Brisbane/Sunshine Coast-based position, you are required to hold a current Driver's Licence and have a reliable vehicle for travel to both the local stores and the regional Queensland stores.
