Warehouse Associate Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse operations team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient storage, picking, and packing of stock.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing orders ready for same-day delivery by packaging into cartons, wrapping, and palletizing stock according to relevant procedures and standards.
  • Stock management, replenishing shelves or putting stock away to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Providing excellent customer service for ordering or order pickup.
  • Entering data in inventory and logistics software programs to ensure accurate tracking and management.
  • Assembling various stock items, utilizing manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Conducting regular stocktakes and stock rotation duties to maintain accurate inventory records and prevent obsolescence.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace, adhering to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker for 3 years or more.
  • Demonstrated direct experience with inventory and logistics software programs, including wave machine operation and power tool usage.
  • Able to work independently, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Keen eye for detail, with ability to identify and correct errors in item codes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
